Delaware Military Academy AD and girls’ basketball coach fired
The most recent violations stem from DMA girls’ basketball coach Jeremy Jeanne being removed from his position just before a state quarterfinals game — in what the school described as a “personal matter.”

A recent article from Delaware Online detailed the penalties to the Delaware Military Academy by the DIAA. Below is an excerpt from the Delaware Online article.
The DIAA board took further action by removing Jeanne from its rules & regulations and officials committees, effective immediately, at its recent March meeting, said DIAA spokesperson Kaitlin Finkley. In addition, DMA was placed on conditional probation for the rest of the 2024-25 school year and all of 2025-26.
That means subsequent violations of DIAA rules could result in more consequences, including teams being banned from postseason play. The school is also required to submit what is termed a “compliance plan” to the DIAA executive director by May 1 that the DIAA board would review at its next meeting.
The DIAA board discussed the matter in executive session, meaning details of wrongdoing were not made public, before issuing its rulings.
DMA and Jeanne had also been reprimanded by the DIAA board in October 2022 for using an ineligible football player in the school’s season opener.
Nick Lincoln, then the DMA football coach, was suspended for the rest of the season. In addition, Jeanne was given probation and required to submit a corrective plan for violation of the DIAA rule requiring “strict compliance” with all regulations.
